Student Requirements: These are the requirements for enrollment in the Foundations of Faith course: - Commitment to attend all 12 weeks of classes. - Willingness to actively participate in class discussions and activities. - The class is IN PERSON ONLY, held every Tuesday at 6 pm in the Edward L. Wagner Family Life Center. To ensure a fruitful learning experience, we recommend that students come prepared with the following materials: 1. Study Bible: We recommend using a reliable study Bible to aid in understanding Scripture passages discussed during the course. Please see the attached form for recommended Study Bible options. 2. Pen or Pencil: A writing utensil will be necessary for taking notes and engaging with class materials. 3. Highlighters: Highlighters can be useful for marking important passages and key points in your study Bible and course materials.

End times theology, also known as eschatology, is the study of “last things” or the final events in human history, as described in religious texts, particularly the Bible. Second Coming of Christ:

The belief that Jesus Christ will return to earth a second time, though interpretations differ on whether this will be before, during, or after a millennial reign.

Resurrection:

The belief that the dead will be raised to life, either at the time of Christ’s return or at a later judgment.
Judgment:
The belief in a final judgment where God will determine the eternal fate of individuals.
New Heavens and New Earth:
The belief that God will ultimately create a new heaven and a new earth, a place of perfection and eternal life for believers.
Different views within Christian Eschatology:

Premillennialism:

This view generally holds that Christ will return before a literal 1,000-year reign on earth.
Dispensational Premillennialism: A specific form of premillennialism that often includes the concept of a Rapture, where believers are taken to heaven before a period of tribulation.
Amillennialism:
This view suggests that the 1,000-year reign is symbolic and not a literal period of time.

Postmillennialism:

This view believes that Christ will return after a period of global transformation brought about by the spread of the Gospel.

Tribulation:
